02 Apr 2008 ATLANTA -- A Georgia state senator with the last name "Stoner" has put his name on a bill to ban the sale of so-called "Stoner Pops" to minors. The legal lollipops taste like illegal marijuana and critics say they help hook youngsters on the real thing.
Employees Can be Fired for Medical Marijuana
25 Jan 2008 Workers who use medical marijuana at home can be fired by their employer if they test positive for the drug on the job. The California Supreme Court made that ruling Thursday.The case revolves around Gary Ross, a Sacramento computer systems administrator, who was fired by his employer, RagingWire Communications, after a drug test showed marijuana in system.

Pot confiscated in Geauga County bust missing
16 Aug 2007 GEAUGA COUNTY -- Remember that half million dollar marijuana bust in Geauga County last month? Well, some of that marijuana is missing.A portion of the pot that was confiscated from a home in Chardon, was being stored in a trailer outside a secured undercover operation.
The missing pot had just returned from being processed in the crime lab.
Someone cut the lock off the trailer and stole four bags or about 15 pounds of the unprocessed pot.

Is Dangerous Hallucinogen Being Sold In Local Stores?
20 Jul 2007 SAN DIEGO -- A drug once used for religious reasons has now found a new circle of users, and the Internet is playing a big part it its rise."You get visual and audio hallucinations. It’s kind of an out of body experience," said local poison expert Dr. Lee Cantrell.
Cantrell is referring to the hallucinogenic drug Salvia.

That's because it's perfectly legal, but powerful enough to take users on a psychedelic journey.
