Bit Torrent
Pot-TV is now offering some bittorrent downloads of our shows. To download our videos you will need a bittorrent client for your computer. Go to the bittorrent website and install their software. You can also choose from many other bittorrent clients, and some new browsers like opera have bittorrent built in.
Once installed, the bittorrent client will download a torrent file when you click on the pot-tv torrent link. The client will then use the torrent file to start downloading the realplayer (or other media) file from whoever is seeding the file at that time. If others are also downloading at the same time your computer will also start seeding the file for others. Once your download is completed, you will have a copy of the file on your computer, and can watch it whenever you like.
Torrent distribution helps pot-tv since we don't have to pay for all the bandwidth to distribute the files. The bandwidth burden is shared by everyone downloading the files.
